Believe it or not this is the view inside the Glasgow Boundary, sailing fron east to west. This is past Lambhill and approaching the Ruchill Golf Course which is on the port [left hand side for the non nautical]. The canal bends around to the right just below the houses and then the Glasgow Branch curves around the other side of the hill taking boats to within half of a mile of the city centre.

This phot was taken in August 2005, on board the Nolly Wanderer, when we were taking some Glasgow Council planning staff on a fact finding trip along the canal to give them a view from the canal --after all
"FROM THE CENTRE ONE CAN SEE BOTH SIDES"
